When I first had the idea of putting blueberry and matcha in a drink together, I simply added blueberry, matcha and milk and what resulted was a concoction not so good. However, overtime I improvised it by changing the quantities of ingredients used, neutralising its taste through cashews and protein powders to bring together a potent morning drink – Blueberry Matcha Smoothie.
Since the time I have started drinking matcha tea in the mornings the taste of matcha has literally grown on me. Matcha has that magic about itself. Its like alcohol, the first time you drink chances are you will hate it, but when you consume it several times the taste eventually grows on you. Only difference being, matcha is extremely beneficial.
It is rich source of powerful antioxidants, contains a high level of dietary fibre and provides relaxation along with its detoxifying properties. Most importantly, it helps in increasing libido in women and can help you to have an active sex life along with being more ‘in the moment’ of the act. One of matcha’s active ingredients L-Theanine is a mineral that is shown to improve the levels of dopamine in the body. Dopamine which is also popularly referred to as a ‘feel good’ chemical helps increase attraction and concentration, thus helping you have a enjoy your sex. Maybe even get a bit creative. How to make Blueberry Matcha smoothie at home
Ingredients
- Organic Blueberries - 1 cup
- Matcha Tea - 1 tablespoon
- Cashews - handful
- Maple syrup or organic raw honey - 1 tablespoon
- Non Dairy milk - 2 cups
- MCT oil - 2 teaspoons (optional)
- Hemp seeds - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend them together
- Garnish with hemp seeds
- Serve Immediately
