Power Protein Smoothies

There are certain things in a day that one just can’t do without – My power Protein Smoothies represent that for me. After a dash of apple cider vinegar mixed with lime & ginger juice in the morning I head straight to my blender. I am now conditioned in that manner. For my husband and kids too the day doesn’t begin without a smoothie.. Honestly we are all addicts.

Power Protein Smoothies

The Power Protein Smoothies give me a dash of energy to help me get through the day (with maintained energy levels). Whats more? they are insanely tasty, satiable (keeps your stomach and heart full for longer) and provide an easy way to add  the required protein and fat to your daily diet in a matter of seconds. Also they are extremely customisable.. you can literally throw in whatever fruits and greens that you have at home and that power drink is ready fo you to consume.

If you are like me with extremely busy mornings then a smoothie is a perfect substitute for a breakfast or rather is can be your new breakfast. And it is a great winner with the kids too. Here’s a photo of mine enjoying her glassful.

Lets dive in then…

Sun Warrior Blend Raw Vegan Protein
If you are in India:
Amway Nutralite Protein Powder
If you are in the US:
Bone Broth Protein Powder
Paleo Protein Powder by Dr Amy Myers
The PPC Notes:
  • If none of these are available or if you find them too expensive, look for a protein powder which is gluten free, soy free, gmo free, dairy free and sugar free. Pea protein powders are ok too.
  • If you want to make smoothies a daily habit make sure to choose your protein powders wisely. A lot of plant based protein powders give you a chalk like taste and you done want your smoothie to taste like a chalk
  • Play with base flavours as much as possible.. The more variety you get in your smoothie the faster you will get addicted to it
Enjoy your smoothie and endeavour towards making it a daily habit.
Cheers!
